Two nights ago at an Obama rally in Cleveland I saw the Boss covering “This Land Is Your Land.”
As our country wakes up today to a reawakening of our ideals, I find this song fitting, particularly its depiction of the unconquerable spirit of American democracy and equality:
Nobody living can ever stop me,
As I go walking that freedom highway;
Nobody living can ever make me turn back
This land was made for you and me.
